Summer afternoon, rain has cleared.
Sun shines quiet in the back road.
Emerged out of the earth,
Slowly crawls a line.
Rolling and climbing, over and over,
Rubbed off like a dull nail head,
The wrinkles of a worm head
Slowly fade with days.
A child turns old,
And hatred into forgiveness,
With no beginning, or ending
Slowly goes a line.

흙에서 나온 선 한 줄
느리게 가고 있네
구비구비 넘고 넘다
닳아 무뎌진 정두의 날들
구린두의 둥그런 주름들로
느리게 가고 있네
치기는 삭아 고졸하고
미움은 닳아 용서가 된
시작도 끝도 없는 선 한 줄
느리게 가고 있네
