You Are My Sunshine

you are my sunshine
my only sunshine
on such a rainy day
you're always on my mind
you are my sunshine
my only sunshine
on such a rainy day
you're always on my mind
so please don't take the light away
I'm feeling lost without a day
if there's no sunshine
my finest dream will fall apart
so please don't take the light away
I'm feeling rotten anyway
without the sunshine
a day will rise like other days
but I'd rather stop searching light
