The moon, the moon, up in the sky,
Shining bright, oh way up high!
Round and round, it goes each night,
Sometimes big, and sometimes light.
The moon, the moon, up in the sky,
Shining bright, oh way up high!
Look, it’s round, a big full moon,
Like a glowing silver balloon!
Sometimes half, and sometimes small,
Changing shape for one and all.
The moon, the moon, up in the sky,
Changing shapes as nights go by!
Now let’s sing and say goodnight,
To the moon so soft and bright.
Dreams of stars and skies so wide,
With the moon as our guide.
The moon, the moon, up in the sky,
Shining down as we close our eyes.
Shining bright, oh way up high!
Round and round, it goes each night,
Sometimes big, and sometimes light.
The moon, the moon, up in the sky,
Shining bright, oh way up high!
Look, it’s round, a big full moon,
Like a glowing silver balloon!
Sometimes half, and sometimes small,
Changing shape for one and all.
The moon, the moon, up in the sky,
Changing shapes as nights go by!
Now let’s sing and say goodnight,
To the moon so soft and bright.
Dreams of stars and skies so wide,
With the moon as our guide.
The moon, the moon, up in the sky,
Shining down as we close our eyes.
