Stepped outside the wind took flight
Pink confetti blurred my sight
Tried to run but it pulled me in
Guess the race of spring begins
Dodging petals left and right
Like a dream but way too bright
Spinning drifting losing ground
No way back no turning ‘round
Petal storm I’m breaking free
Through the chaos finding me
Every step every fall
Led me to stand up tall
Faces change like shifting skies
Seasons pass before my eyes
One deep breath I chase the air
Let the blossoms take me there
Dodging petals left and right
Every whirlwind every fight
Built the strength to rise in flight
Now I’m soaring now I see
The storm was just a part of me
Petal storm no chains remain
Dancing wild in pink champagne
Took the fall spread my wings
Now I own the air I breathe
