Mic is off, the thoughts are loud
Floating free above the crowd
While the meeting drones away
I drift into a jazz ballet
Muted world, but I engage
With ideas on a quiet stage
Mic off, mind on, I disappear
Floating thoughts, but staying near
Jazz beneath this quiet call
Carries me through it all
I’m still here, but also far
