Butterfly

The world around me, built of stone, so heavy, cold, and gray.
Felt like I was truly alone, with nowhere left to play.
They told me where I had to stand, the lines I couldn't cross.
But in my soul, a burning brand, defying every loss, defying every loss.
Locked inside a silent chrysalis, I dreamt of open skies.
Felt a yearning, pure and bliss, reflecting in my eyes.
The fragile shell began to crack, a whisper, wild and free.
No turning back, no looking back, this new path's meant for me, just for me.
I am a butterfly, yeah, soaring through the wind so high.
