that cold winter night, dancing under the moon as the stars shone off the waves.
i will never forget the way you made me feel when we walked hand in hand,
barefoot through sand as i looked into your eyes.
i gently kissed your lips and i was gone. i was gone.
here i am tonight, staring at the stars, wishing i was in your arms.
a thousand miles away, dreaming of the ocean and you.
the day that i left, oh how i held you close, never wanting to let go.

now as i look back, the only thing i have left are just these memories.
