Each Day, Like A Page

Before me lies a road and here it comes
A long journey to freedom, I’m standing on the edge
Looking back at the years that flew by
But ahead lies my chance my new path
It’s time to say goodbye but not forever
Each day, like a page
Leaves a mark on my soul
I weave my dreams and tears into words
This journal fills with moments we can’t get back
Laughter with friends bright days and nights
We dreamed of someday finding ourselves
Every fall just helped me rise
And even when I was scared
I knew I wasn’t alone
It’s time to say goodbye but not forever
Each day, like a page
Leaves a mark on my soul
I weave my dreams and tears into words
This journal fills with moments we can’t get back
Soon we’ll go our separate ways (Each on your path)
But our stories will always stay close
Even if tomorrow brings a new start
I’ll keep all that was deep in my heart
It’s time to say goodbye but not forever
Each day, like a page
Leaves a mark on my soul
I weave my dreams and tears into words
This journal fills with moments we can’t get back
