Pulse of the Heart

Streetlights hum alive, as the dusk rolls near,
Shadows catch the beat, in the air I hear,
Steps on city stones, a rhythm so sweet,
Every move I feel, where the soul can meet.
Pulse of the heart, it lifts me off the ground,
Groove in every turn, where the love is found,
Every beat so tight, every glow so right,
Holds me in this vibe, through the funky night.
Through the twilight’s shine, a spark takes hold,
Voices in the streets, stories to unfold,
Time can snap so fast, steady as it sings,
We’re alive right here, where the spirit springs.
Lift my soul to dance, the sky so wide and free,
Feel the night ignite, in this harmony,
Every step we take, every sound we make,
Paints a lively scene, for the heart to wake.
Pulse of the heart, it fades into the stars,
Softly it remains, through the night’s memoirs,
Every hum so true, every light I knew,
Carries me along, in this groove so new.
