I’ve been writing songs since I was a kid
As a way to process and express my feelings
And I’ve done it mostly in my bathroom
So yeah, I guess the most authentic way
To take you through this journey with me is to start like this
I wrote these songs as I’ve found myself
Feeling happy, in love, silly, grateful
Nostalgic, angry, sad, hurt, confused
I also felt heartbroken and sometimes I fell apart
Then I learned to love myself.
I've gone through ups and downs, good and bad
And I guess it’s the natural cycle of life, emotions, nature and all things
That’s why these songs are listed by feelings,
from the happiest of my experiences to my darkest moments
and each of them represents a different Ploy or gemstone,
with its own kind of healing energy
I hope the stories they tell can remind you that
It is ok to feel everything you feel, without judgment.
I hope they can remind you we are human but
Most of all, I just hope this record can be your friend
Through whatever you are going through.
