The day sinks deep into waves of blue,
It drifts away, and fades from view.
Where does that darkened shoal now fly,
Across the sea where colors die?
Twilight turns into the sea,
With ships and dreams that sail with me.
Seaweed falls like autumn leaves,
Each one whispers, each one grieves.
Seaweed drifts like falling tears,
Each one filled with passing years.
In the west, a painting hangs,
A quiet scene where sorrow clangs.
The orphan ties their robes so tight,
Their sorrow clings, a lonely fight.
With heart set sail, the journey starts,
But rolls around on floors and parts.
Twilight turns into the sea,
With ships and dreams that sail with me.
Seaweed falls like autumn leaves,
Each one whispers, each one grieves.
The sea becomes the evening’s light,
As day surrenders to the night.
I float with ships both new and old,
In waters deep, so calm, so cold.
The twilight sinks with silent grace,
Taking all in its embrace.
How many ships have drifted down,
With me to drown, without a sound?
The sea, the dusk, they intertwine,
A journey’s end, a fate divine.
Each ship that sails, each dream that fades,
Is lost beneath the ocean’s shades.
Twilight, now the sea’s own face,
Holds us in its vast embrace.
The ships and waves, they drift below,
And in the sea, together, we go.
Twilight turns into the sea,
With ships and dreams that sail with me.
Seaweed falls like autumn leaves,
Each one whispers, each one grieves.
