For those who fade, dress them in black,
For those who live, bring the white back.
Lay them down, side by side,
In a quiet room, where tears can’t hide.
When they weep, feed them peace,
Hold them close till sorrows cease.
When the dawn breaks with trumpet’s sound,
New hope will rise from the ground.
To the dying souls, so weary and cold,
Dress them in black, so quiet and bold.
Let them sleep in restful grace,
In a room where time leaves no trace.
To the living hearts, so full of life,
Dress them in white, free from strife.
Together they rest, side by side,
In the gentle calm, where dreams abide.
When they weep, feed them peace,
Hold them close till sorrows cease.
When the dawn breaks with trumpet’s sound,
New hope will rise from the ground.
If they cry in the dark of night,
Feed them love till their hearts are light.
For the dawn will come, a trumpet call,
Bringing new light for one and all.
In the stillness, all pain subsides,
And joy will return with the morning tides.
The night may linger, but fear not the dark,
For dawn will come and leave its mark.
In the quiet, where tears do fall,
Listen close for the trumpet’s call.
Dawn will break, a brand-new day,
And chase the shadows far away.
